Success!

I wasn't going to blog today (shocker!), but I knew some of you might be having some serious laundry-post withdrawal so I put my selfish writer's block (aka laziness) aside to come over here and link to this. jewel.

Of course, my motivation was higher since she said such nice things about me. (Please note the title she gives me. And use it when you speak of me in the future, please.)

I love success stories, don't you? And I'm amazed at how seemingly small things (...and I confess, I was worried when she first emailed me pictures of her too-small-for-my-family laundry bins)
can make all the difference in how we view our daily tasks.

Seeing Kristin's success (almost) spurs me on to continue my Making It All Work series. I've implemented about 2% of the system, but it's transformed my calendar and my to-do list.

More later. (Do I say that a lot?)

P.S. Can I get a witness to Kristin's offer to come clean my shower stalls? Do you think she does tubs, too? (Do you think she remembers I have 7 sons?!)

P.S.S. Kristin is a new blogger - but you'd never know it from the way she writes. And wait until you see her amazing revolving slide show of her gorgeous children. No sinful, coveting, blog envy here. Just the facts.

you know i took those photos on the slideshow, right... is that a not so veiled attempt for me to come and take photos of your adorable children so you could have your own slideshow ? because i could do that.

Lea, how in the world do you so easily see through my schemes?!
So...when are you coming to do the photoshoot for my Kristin-coveting slide show?

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble remembering the full title. . .

Miss Leah, the full title of what? (Sorry, you're young and have your full faculties working at top speed. I....do not.)

The title we're supposed to call you now. Something about 'consultant' and 'mastermind'. It was imposing.

OK, for Leah and anyone else who missed my new byline.."She is a hilarious blogger/mom of many/organizational consultant/laundry mastermind".

Actually, until I just went over there and copied and pasted it, I didn't realize the mastermind moniker was connected to laundry. So, let's just all leave that part out and make it simply - Mastermind. (Since it is the first, and I'm sure last, time I'll ever be called that.)

i DO so like you ladies! :)

Yes, Lea of the Magic Lens did take all the pics on the slide show, on my Christmas card (two years running), on my laundry baskets, on my husband's company website, framed on my foyer table, etc. etc. She is the ONLY person hubby will agree to let come over and take "family pictures" (we do NOT call it a photo shoot or he will not attend), and that is a credit to the steady stream of funny things that come out of her mouth and make us all look pretty friendly and like we are actually enjoying said photo shoot (plus the fact that those two have known each other for about 35 years and his first name is also Millard like someone else she knows---these little things, they do help!)

Debbie, you really should just pare down the title to "Mastermind"---it covers so very much territory---

Hey! I didn't know you had a blog (I know, I didn't ask) but when I happened upon yours just now I looked at the picture and thought, "She looks familiar!" I'm going to have to carve out time to catch up!
