Disappointing....

Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about the election. God knows there's plenty of that on the web - and every other inch of society - today. (And just for the record, God also knew ahead of time who would win...and why. In fact....And I know this sounds blasphemous to some...He was in charge of the whole thing and planned the outcome.)

I have to admit to being a little gloomy this morning when I woke up and read the news. But this article propelled me out of the pit, and actually got me excited and challenged about whatever lies ahead (or is it "lay ahead"?)

But I didn't plan on discussing candidates this morning. I just want to share a profound thought I had today.

A life worth blogging about is a life where you're too busy to blog.

So, I have much to say, but no time to do it justice. I'll have to be satisfied with living it right now.

Here's a summary for you impatient readers -
I'm reading a great book.
I had an emotional weekend.
I'm learning a lot by having my husband home 24/7 (those numbers seem low...)

So, check back with me later in the day (or week) and see if I've eked out the time to fill you in on my Blog-Worthy Life.

Until then, read the article in that link above. And I'm not saying that just because it's written by my daughter's brother-in-law.

BUT, just because one has time to blog doesn't mean they have an un-blogworthy life. :)

Off to read that link now.

Aw shucks, Moriah, I was hoping no one would think deeply enough to realize that fact :)

And...I have not learned the art of conciseness as you have.

BTW- I loved your husband's answers to the meme. I might even pretend I got one and ask my hubby to share - however, I think I will wait until he's "high and happy" on his pain meds.

Thanks for the link to the article. It was very well written. The thing that has bothered me most about the election is the name calling, degrading comments and disrespect the general populace has shown toward each other and the candidates on both sides of the issues. Thank you sharing the article that reminds us of God's word and direction.

I did NOT enjoy the article. I did NEED to READ the article. It reminded me, once again, of God's love for the sinner and that would be me! It also reminded me that I can't be one of those who sit back and thrill to be able to say "I told you so!" I really needed that attitude adjustment tonight.

By the way, my life has been busy and exhausting...does that qualify as blog-worthy?

O.K. so I'm trying not to have my feelings hurt that grandmama left a comment on your blog and not mine. I'm her daughter for goodness sake!

I did read the article earlier today when you posted it on the homeschool loop. Thank-you.

Lea, You will definitley make my day by coming to book club tonight. You know you're the only reason I go. In fact...I'm pretty sure I'd be illiterate if it weren't for your presence in my life. I mean, Why read if there's no Lea to talk to about it?

24/7 seems low ... that line made me laugh aloud at work.

I find I relate to my family better when I don't take time to blog...

Great article with a very important message; thanks for sharing that!

And I appreciated your "profound thought" as well. Seeing as my life is about to get even busier, I may be making less and less time to blog. It's good to know that I'll still have a life, even if no one gets to read about it. :)
