A baker's dozen is getting more than you expected, it's delightful, sometimes more than you can handle - and never, ever dull!

I told you so....I told you so....
....follow that subject line with a nanny, nanny, boo, boo, and you'll have a sense of my attitude as I write this. My roosters have never looked so good.
LOOK AT THESE GORGEOUS PICTURES Lea took of my house today. (Notice I did not say "Look at these pictures of my gorgeous house." I love my house, but these pictures make it look A Lot Better than it actually is. Honestly, a decent (read: expensive) camera - and an excellent photographer :) - DO make a difference.
(And may I reiterate...I'm not complaining about my old camera, I'm just stating the obvious here.)
And the photography seemed so effortless for Lea as she just strolled around my house snapping pictures. It took her about 20 minutes to take over 100 shots ..... and that was with me yacking and trying to tell her what to do the whole time.
My only regret is that I didn't have her take a nice Glammy, Fuzzy shot of me while she was here. I mean, Gee Wally (think Leave it to Beaver), if she can make my HOUSE look this good, I'm thinking she could do something for me that even Botox couldn't produce.
Please feel free to come back again Lea, and this time I might REALLY have lunch made for you, instead of just faking you out with my pretend offer. (And to think you fell for that...)
Enough typing already! I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves. I'll be using these and the other bazillion shots in the September to Remember days to come, after I get them all separated by Blog Categories, but I wanted to go ahead and Share the Joy with you tonight.

OOOOh! I love the crown molding!!! Was it already in the house, or do you install it?
Hey there! I saw your comment on another blog about how you're following links on decorating. I did some recently, you have to go back quite a few posts but they're in there! Love the kittens by the way, and the rooster jars are wonderful!
So is it fair to have a 'professional' come in to take pictures? (They're great, by the way.)
Plus, having professional blog personnel is way over the top...even if you did give him birth. This is so not fair --at least till my Bex learns all this at TCC so that she can work on mine!
Do I sound like a whiny loser? Okay...maybe a little...but I'm still in there fighting for them thar grits!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your pictures are wonderful and your home looks gorgeous. I looked back through your blog and I love your roosters...the baby kittens are adorable too!
yes, please use "professional" in quotes when you use my name... remember your arm is kind of in one photo. we should play where's waldo and have everyone try to find you in the mass of photos! it was fun being ordered about by you, now i feel like a real member of the family!
My favorite is the pear painting hung on the bookcase and the dentil molding.
Great use of light and classic architecture!
I love your house, it is awesome. I wish we lived closer!!

The pictures are great! A few of them look like they're straight out of a Martha Stewart magazine!
