But anyway, I digress. I can't think of anything better for you- her bloggie friends- to give her than a nice bloggie birthday comment. We all know how much she loves her some comments. :)
And in honor of my mother (and also because my card will not be arriving on time- darn those Sunday birthdays and surprise doctors appointments) I've posted a few pictures demonstrating her serving in various capacities: as a Mom, a grandmother, a faithful daughter, a sister, and not pictured is her as a loving wife (sorry Mom, I couldn't find any pictures of just you and dad...maybe we should have gotten you two a vacation alone instead of a surprise blog post). Even though I'm sure she won't like all of these pictures, I think you look great and it's even sweeter to remember all the events surrounding these photos. (I apologize in advance for the funky sizes and layouts...I'm obviously a newbie at this blogging thing.)

Happy Birthday Debbie (and Brite!) I loved your post celebrating Brite's 30 years. So touching. And, I know it's been said, but you all really are an inspirational family! I love that you love your husband so deeply, still, and that you love motherhood and children, and that you are willing to live by your convictions, but still have a great sense of humor. I sincerely wish you both a grace-filled year.
PS - I also admire you for writing a blog. Writing is hard! Don't let anyone make you feel bad for not writing enough. I don't know how anyone does it at all. Actually, I don't even like commenting. I am only commenting as a birthday present to you. Aren't you lucky!? :)
